MonkeyFuzz BFL is 100% Bluefaced Leicester Wool top roving. The yarn spun from this beautiful fiber will add a shimmer to any project you make from the yarn. Dyed in our Colorado dye studio by Christina Cooper, it drafts easily as care has been taken not to felt it during the dye process.
In addition to spinning, this roving would be great felting project, or in a needlefelted sculpture. The BFL felts well when agitated into a smooth surface.
Sold in 4oz braids.
As with all our hand painted products, each colorway is unique and considered a Special Edition. We do not record or reproduce our colorways. This keeps the yarn new and exciting, and all the more precious.
Use and Care
This is a plain merino wool, which will felt if agitated in hot water. Gently wash by hand in cold water and very mild detergent. Lay flat to dry.
